Jordan believes that Rashford's departure from United is a result of the club's culture and the player's own decisions. He claims that Rashford was not at the level he was expected to be and that the club's priorities were also to blame. Jordan recalls that after the European Championships, Rashford was allowed to go on holiday for two weeks and then underwent shoulder surgery, questioning the club's decision-making process.
Jordan also thinks that Rashford should take responsibility for his own opportunities and not be distracted by outside influences. He believes that the club should create a culture that respects and values the opportunities of young players, and that Rashford will be successful at Barcelona because he will be away from the "toxic culture" at United.
Rashford is the first men's England international to sign for Barcelona since Gary Lineker in 1986, and Jordan thinks he will be a huge success with the Catalan side.
"I think he'll be successful at Barcelona because he'll be away from Manchester United's toxic culture," Jordan said. "That's for Man United's sake and Marcus Rashford's sake - and we should lament that because he's a good player."
