Former England striker Michael Owen shared his thoughts on the team's chances, stating that he doesn't think it will be England's year to win the World Cup.
Owen believes that there are better teams than England, and that some teams may handle the tournament conditions more effectively.
He compared England's squad to those of France and Spain, noting that France has a stronger team, but that Spain's squad may not be as impressive individually, yet they tend to play well together as a group.
Owen emphasized that from an individual perspective, he believes there are a few teams that are better than England, but he still thinks the Three Lions have a chance to win.
England is aiming to bring home the nation's first trophy since the 1966 World Cup, but if Owen's assessment is correct, they may have to wait a bit longer for silverware.
