Gyokeres comes to Arsenal from Sporting CP in Portugal, where he will leave behind a €63.5 million fixed fee plus an additional €10 million in potential add-ons. His contract with the team is for five years.
It's worth noting that Gyokeres had expected to be allowed to leave Sporting CP for a lower fee, reportedly around £51 million plus add-ons, due to a perceived agreement between the two parties.
As he begins his new chapter with Arsenal, Gyokeres will don the famous number 14 shirt, previously worn by legendary player Thierry Henry.
