Donnarumma, 26, is expected to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer after a disagreement with the club. PSG has since signed a new goalkeeper, Lucas Chevalier, who is highly rated in France.
Manchester United and Manchester City have been linked with Donnarumma, with some speculation suggesting that Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is a fan of the Italian goalkeeper.
Donnarumma's agent, Enzo Raiola, stated that while there have been no talks with Manchester City, the player is interested in playing in the Premier League this summer.
Raiola said, "Rumors about Guardiola's interest are just rumors that have arrived. We never talked to Guardiola." He also mentioned that Donnarumma's goal is to play in the Premier League, which he believes is the best league in the world.
Raiola added, "Some Premier League clubs are moving, and it's the league to which Gigio aspires, also from a professional point of view. After being in Italy and PSG, the Premier League could give him the next step forward."
Donnarumma's agent also joked that Donnarumma could become the second Italian to win the Premier League, following in the footsteps of Mario Balotelli.
