Hancko has now signed with Atletico, and he's happy about it. He mentioned that the offer from Saudi Arabia was still on the table, but he was eager to join Atletico Madrid instead.
"As soon as Atlético Madrid entered the deal, I wanted to come here. We wanted to come to Madrid," Hancko said.
He also shared that there were rumors about interest from other clubs, but there weren't many real offers. Hancko had previously played for Atletico Madrid two years ago and was impressed by the team's level.
"I wanted to play for one of the best clubs in the world," Hancko said.
When asked about coach Diego Simeone, Hancko expressed his admiration for the coach and the team. "Cholo is one of the best in the world. It's a challenge for me. This team has a great level. I'll work hard," he said.
