Lopez was with Liga MX's Toluca, but has now joined Betis on a free transfer after terminating his contract.
The Catalan goalkeeper was also a target for Roma, but has chosen to join Betis instead, signing a deal until 2028.
This move marks a return to Betis for Lopez, who previously played for the club during the 2018/19 season.
