Hayden, 30, joined the Magpies in 2016 after starting his professional career with Arsenal.
During his time at St. James' Park, Hayden made 171 appearances for the club in all competitions.
He recently spent the second half of the 2024/25 season on loan with Championship side Portsmouth.
After his loan spell, Hayden hopes to find another Premier League club, possibly after playing for Portsmouth last season.
