The club has loaned its goalkeeper, Sam Lewis, to Oxford City, a team in the National League.

Lewis will initially play for Oxford City for a month before returning to Villa.

Meanwhile, Villa has released Ethan Amundsen-Day, who has joined a team called Hamarkameratene in Norway.

Amundsen-Day was signed by Villa in June 2024 and played 16 matches for the team's reserve squad during the 2024/25 season.
