Getafe's president, Angel Torres, has been in discussions with FSG representatives, including Michael Edwards, who oversees global operations for Liverpool and FSG. Torres initially sought to sell the club for £160 million, but has since reduced his asking price to £100 million.
It's worth noting that FSG had previously considered purchasing Malaga, a Segunda Division club, before deciding to focus on Getafe. Edwards is leading the effort to find a second football club for FSG's ownership group.
