Kavukcu expressed pride in the club's ability to secure the deal without compromising its financial position. He noted that Galatasaray has invested in Osimhen's contract, viewing it as a valuable asset for the club.
In a statement, Kavukcu highlighted the significant sums Osimhen had given up to join Galatasaray, describing them as "enormous". He emphasized that the club was pleased to have secured Osimhen's services at a cost that was reasonable for the team.
As part of the transfer agreement, Galatasaray paid Napoli €75m, plus a 10% cut of any potential sell-in fee. Osimhen's contract with the club includes a four-year deal worth €15m per year, as well as a €15.1m loyalty bonus and €5m per year in image rights.
