"Garnacho is doing well," Maresca stated. "We're managing his physical condition as he arrived from Manchester United not fully fit."

"He's working hard every day and improving, and we're pleased with his performance," Maresca added.

Maresca also expressed positive sentiments towards young defender Josh Acheampong.

"We're happy with his improvement and the effort he's putting in every day," Maresca said.

Maresca noted that he has been impressed with Acheampong since his arrival at Chelsea, citing the young defender's progress in the previous season and pre-season games in the USA.

"I've been impressed with Josh since day one," Maresca stated.

"He's shown trust and confidence in him by playing in the Champions League and starting in the Premier League," Maresca concluded.
