He signed a permanent contract with Alverca, but Wolverhampton has the option to buy him back in the future. Meupiyou moved to Wolverhampton from Nantes last year.

Unfortunately, Meupiyou's first season with Wolverhampton was cut short due to a knee injury. Despite this setback, he is now excited to join FC Alverca and be a part of their journey back to the top division in Portugal.

Meupiyou becomes the second player from Wolverhampton to join FC Alverca this summer, following Chiquinho's move earlier in July.
