Rashford, also 27, has a strong connection to Barcelona, having trained at the club's La Masia academy when he was younger.
Cucurella, who joined Chelsea from Brighton in 2022, believes Rashford has the potential to succeed at his former club.
In an interview, Cucurella stated, "I like him (Rashford). Physically, I think he'll do very well in La Liga. He's very fast and the pace of the leagues is very different."
Cucurella also noted that Rashford is used to playing in the Premier League, but will find the pace of La Liga to be less demanding.
It is reported that Rashford has already signed a contract with Barcelona, a move that is expected to be completed soon.
