According to reports, Newcastle United midfielder Sandro Tonali has emerged as a potential candidate to join Manchester City. Tonali had a successful season at St James' Park, making 53 appearances and showcasing his impressive ball-playing skills.

Manchester United have also expressed interest in Tonali as part of their midfield rebuild, but Newcastle may demand a high price for him, reportedly at least £90 million. This would make Tonali nearly as expensive as the initial target, Elliot Anderson.
